Dear Reader: Steps Towards Completing My Media Project

In 5317, we were assigned the task of creating a media project aimed at introducing our publication article. This article serves to present our innovative plan for the ADL program. I initially wanted to produce a podcast, but was uncertain whether to approach it as a solo effort or include a special guest. One of my group members suggested using Google LM Notebook, which can generate a podcast based on an article or paper created by an individual. Given the time constraints, I opted to utilize the Google LM Notebook for an AI-generated podcast.

Using Google LM Notebook to create an AI-generated podcast was truly remarkable! I am still amazed that AI was able to produce a conversation between two voices based on an article I wrote. I realized that the Google LM Notebook did not offer AI transcription services, so I had to seek out that functionality elsewhere. After some searching, I discovered that Microsoft Office Word 365 has a dictation feature that met my needs.

In all honesty, I feel a strong sense of pride in my growth and ability to leverage AI tools.

Before joining the ADL program, I was skeptical about AI, largely due to concerns regarding how much it allowed students to bypass traditional tasks. However, my experience in the ADL program has opened my eyes to the benefits of utilizing AI and the significant positive impact it can have on our society.
