One of our very first assignments in 5302 was to create a Growth Mindset plan. This happened to be one of my favorite assignments because it allowed me to show off my Canva skills and my creativity. This just happens to be another example of the ADL program, which is showing off our creativity and craft. We show our Choice, Ownership, Voice and Authentic learning (COVA) skills.

As a teacher, I thought this plan would be an easy grade. I implement Growth Mindset in my classroom every day when I have writing conferences with my students and discuss their test scores. However, the Growth Mindset did need some edits as I was confused about the directions. After receiving the feedback for my feedforward from Dr. Harrison, the plan was corrected and is now in a better place than before.

To further implement my Growth Mindset and beliefs, we had to revisit our Growth Mindset plan in 5313 Creating Significant Learning Environments. I found this quite difficult to do, and I feel as if I revisiting my plan should be a later in the program question. However, the upside of revisiting my plan is reevaluating my Growth Mindset and how I can further my own development.
